Hall of Packaging Excellence the heart of the Packaging Summit 2006
The Packaging Summit 2006 – scheduled for May 16-18 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois – includes the Hall of Packaging Excellence, an innovations hub located front and center in the exposition hall. Over 100 award-winning packages from leading packaging associations - including the Tube Council - will be prominently displayed for attendees to observe up-close.

Tube closures allow for easy orientation
Super Soft Orienting Tube Closures from Zeller Plastik, Inc. are softer and more contoured, with a re-sculpted recess to fit the thumb’s natural contours. Internal engravings and knock-out pins have been removed to give your product a clean look when molded in a transparent color. The push-on finish allows for easy orientation of the thumb recess to the front of the package. Both matte and gloss options are available.

Machine runs up to 85 tubes per minute
Multi-process CNC machine for tubes from CER is designed for hot stamping or labeling and runs 110 cycles per minute. Includes artwork registration camera and a quality control camera. All parameters are saved on a PC including diameter, speeds, strokes, artwork, temperature and more.

Packaging Containers & Materials Expo to focus on package development
Packaging Containers & Materials Expo – scheduled for May 16-18, 2006 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois – is a containers and materials exposition, featuring companies involved exclusively in these packaging segments and will focus on package development. Attendees will include professionals who manage and influence how products are packaged and anyone involved in materials and container issues, both structural and graphical. Exhibitor space is now available for manufacturers of tubes and/or materials used for tubes, tube components, as well as tube suppliers. Packaging Containers & Materials Expo was created in cooperation with major packaging associations including the Tube Council.
